Attorney Robert Jones of Elkton, MD; cheating loser

The state of Maryland presented Robert Valliant Jones with a law license in 1972 after he graduated from the University of Maryland Law School.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel (ODC) found Bobby guilty of the following misconduct.

• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
• Charged higher fees than rate of compensation set in Administrative Order for the Circuit Court of Cecil County
• Billed parties for scheduling and court appearance fees
• Billed for time required to complete audit process
• Failed to request specific approval for additional compensation
• Regularly billed for and accepted payments of amounts that exceeded the court-authorized auditor’s fee

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Maryland Supreme punished Bobby by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. September 2019) Bobby practices with Robert Valliant Jones PA at 157 East Main Street in Elkton, Maryland.
