Attorney Sterling Mead of Olney, MD; ethical elf

The state of Maryland presented Sterling Garrett Mead with a law license in 1999 after he graduated from University of Maryland Law School.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel (ODC) found Sterling guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Engaged in illegal practice of law while license suspended
  • Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Screw you, said Sterling!)

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Maryland Supreme punished Sterling by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. February 2019) Sterling practices at 3470 Olney Laytonsville Road in Olney, Maryland.
