Attorney Benjamin Woolery of Upper Marlboro, MD; moronic slacker

The state of Maryland presented Benjamin Jeremy Woolery with a law license in 1988 after he graduated from the University of Maryland Law School.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel (ODC) found Benny guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to provide competent representation (moron)
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  • Sold tractor stored by one beneficiary of an estate on property owned by the estate without first ascertaining the ownership or approximate value of the tractor
  • Despite being informed of tractor’s ownership and value, failed to rectify his error because of his antipathy (hatred) towards the lawful owner of the tractor

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Maryland Supreme punished Benny by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. January 2019) Benny practices with McGill & Woolery at 5303 West Court Drive in Upper Marlboro, Maryland.
