Justice Menis Ketchum II of West Virginia; greedy loser

The state of West Virginia presented Menis E. Ketchum with a law license in 1967 after he graduated from the University of West Virginia School of Law.

 in Columbus, Ohio.

In one matter, a state audit discovered that Justice Menis used the state’s 2007 Buick Lucerne for more than four years to commute from his home in Huntington. The audit additionally found Ketchum used the state vehicle for golf outings in Virginia.

As of early June 2018, the enablers for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Judicial Commission and/or the West Virginia Court of Appeals haven’t taken any action against Judge Ketchum for his illegal use of state vehicles.

And lastly, the IRS has consistently ruled that the use of an employer provided vehicle for commuting from home to work is taxable income. In other words, Ketchum was required to report the use of the Buick for personal use as income on his returns for four or more years.

If Ketchum doesn’t believe this to be true, he can ask the justices of the Ohio Supreme Court who were caught not reporting said use of a state provided car on their federal, state and local taxes compliments of this Watchdog. Moreover, after being outed for such abuses the justices no longer have cars provided to them at taxpayer cost.

As we speak (ca. June 2018), Ketchum continues to sit as an Associate Justice of the West Virginia Court of Appeal.
