Attorney Samuel Lovett of Seekonk, MA; serial scofflaw

The state of Massachusetts provided Samuel Lovett with a law license in 1996 after he graduated from the University of Massachusetts Law School.

The Board of Bar Overseers found Sammy guilty of the following misconduct.

• Engaged in the illegal practice of law in a Rhode Island
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial administration of justice
• Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice law
• Pled no contest (guilty in effect) to five misdemeanors for engaging in the authorized practice of law

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Board of Bar Overseers punished Sammy by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year suspension of his law license effective February 2018.

As we speak (ca. October 2018), Sammy’s  practice will resume in Seekonk, Massachusetts in early February 2019.
