The state of California provided Stephen Ray Rasmussen with a law license in 1984 after he graduated from the University of California Hastings Law School

The California Bar Court found Deron guilty of the following misconduct.

• Misconduct significantly harmed client
• Engaged in a conflict of interest
• Knowingly made a false statement of law or fact to a tribunal
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice

As a direct consequence of his misconduct the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Bar Courtpunished Stevie by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 6-month suspension of his law license. 

As we speak (ca.  June 2018), Stevie practices with Smith Freed & Eberhard PC at 111 SW 5^th Avenue in Portland, Oregon.
