Attorney Steven Stanton of Memphis, TN; ethical troll

The state of Tennessee provided Steven Thomas Stanton with a law license in 1988 after he graduated from the University of Memphis School of Law.

The Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility found Stevie guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Bench warrant issued for Stevie in Michigan Probate Court for his failure to comply with a court order in relations to his Conservatorship of Jane Stanton
  • Violated or attempted to violate Rules of Conduct or knowingly assisted or induced another to do so or did so through the acts of another
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished Stevie by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. January 2019) Stevie practices at 145 Edgewood in Memphis, Tennessee.
