Attorney C. LeAnn Smith of Nashville, TN; convicted drunk, repeat offender

 

The state of Tennessee provided C. LeAnn Smith with a law license in 1997 after he graduated from the Nashville School of Law. 

 

The Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility found LeAnn guilty of the following misconduct.

 

LeAnn’s 1st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Failed to communicate with client
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  • Failed to timely file notice of appeal on client’s behalf in criminal matter
  • Client lost right to appeal due to LeAnn’s gross negligence

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished LeAnn by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

 

LeAnn’s 2nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Convicted of driving under the influence (DUI), second offense
  • Engaged in misconduct reflecting adversely on fitness to practice law

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished LeAnn by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

 

As we speak (ca. October 2018) LeAnn practices in Nashville, Tennessee.
