Attorney Nan Calloway of Elkton, KY; repeat offender

 

The state of Tennessee provided Nan Shelby Calloway with a law license in 1987 after she graduated from Northern Kentucky University School of Law. 

 

The Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility found Nan guilty of the following misconduct.

 

Nan’s 1st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Failed to communicate with client
  • Failed to agree with client on amount of refund re: unearned fees
  • Failure to communicate with client led to client hiring another attorney

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished Nan by gifting her with a complimentary censure.  

 

Nan’s 2nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  • Engaged in sexual affair with client

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished Nan by gifting her with a complimentary censure.  

 

As we speak (ca. June 2018) Nan practices in Elkton, Kentucky.
