Unfortunately, the New York Supreme Court presented Lee Holzman with a law license in 1966.
Lee Holzman was successful in duping the voters into electing him as a Surrogate Court Judge in New York City in 1988.
FYI: Surrogate Courts handle decedent estates as do Probate courts in other states. These so-called courts are the primary source of income for crooked lawyers and judges. Put simply, dishonest attorneys are allowed to basically “steal from the dead” with the blessing of crooked judges.
In January 2011, the New York Judicial Commission filed charges against Judge Holzman regarding his misconduct that began in 1995 and continued through at least 2009.
The Dishonorable Judge Holzman was hooked up with crooked attorney Michael Lippman in robbing from the heirs of the dead in the Bronx. For nearly 15 years, Holzman unlawfully approved that fees of several hundred thousand be paid to Lippman even though he never provided the necessary evidence to prove he was entitled to the fees.

It takes an unconscionable dirt-bag (my apologies to dirt-bags) to steal from the dead, which is exact ly what Judge Holzman did.
The decision from the Judicial Commission will be as worthless as the services that Holzman provided to the taxpayers of New York. Holzman’s present term of office ends on December 31, 2011. Since he’s not running for re-election, he really doesn’t have to worry about there impending ruling.
What is truly galling is that Holzman will be receiving a state paid pension for the balance of his miserable life when his term ends in December.
