Attorney Richard Varriano of Fargo, ND; drunken loser

The state of North Dakota presented Richard David Varriano with a law license in 1988 after he graduated from Gonzaga University College of Law .

The Disciplinary Board charged Dick with engaging in the following misconduct.

• Engaged in egregious conflict of interest
• Convicted of driving under the influence
• Misuse of client trust account

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the North Dakota Supreme Court punished Dick by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year suspension of his law license.
