Attorney Amy Vichinsky of Corning, NY; convicted thief

The state of New York presented Amy Lillian Vichinsky with a law license in 2010 after she graduated from the Thomas M. Cooley School of Law.

Cooley is considered the worst law school in the country and is dedicated to taking in losers that could not get accepted at mainstream schools such as Syracuse University, Fordham or NYU. Proof of Cooley’s loser status is the fact that Donald “Trumporleone” Trump’s lawyer Michael Cohen is a graduate of Cooley. Need I say more?

The Fourth Judicial Department Committee on Professional Standards found Amy guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Pled guilty and was convicted of attempted falsifying business records in the first degree
  • In pleading guilty, admitted she submitted to an assigned counsel program a voucher wherein she overstated the time she had spent meeting with certain clients and the expenses she had incurred in relation to three client matters (thief)

Subsequently, Amy was sentenced to a one-year conditional discharge and 200 hours of community service.

Amy’s Hyperbolic (BS) defenses to falsifying business records

In defense of her guilty plea to submitting a voucher to be paid for time she had never worked or expenses she never incurred, Amy had the chutzpah to make the following claims to Fourth Judicial Department Committee on Professional Standards.

  • She alse claims submitted at time she was caring for seriously ill relatives
  • False claims attributable to inexperience with assigned counsel billing procedures
  • He guilty plea was a “lie” to avoid a trial before a judge who “had his mind made up” prior to trial
  • After criminal charges were lodged against her she suffered from various physical and mental health problems, which contributed to her failure to report the criminal conviction to the Grievance Committee as required

It is patently clear that Amy missed her calling as a Standup Comedian.

As a consequence of her misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Professional Standards Committee punished Amy by gifting her with a complimentary 1-year suspension of her law license effective in October 2017.

As we speak (ca. October 2018), Amy will resume her practice with the Vichinsky Law Office in October 2018 in Corning, New York.
