Attorney Linda Pellegrino of Newton, NJ; cheerleader for convicted felon

The state of New Jersey presented Linda Theresa Pellegrino with a law license in 1985 after he graduated from Hofstra University Law School.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found Phil guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Linda found it acceptable to act as a character witness for attorney Philip Gentile of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania even though he was convicted of cocaine possession, grand larceny and passing bad checks. For additional information on Gentile, visit the URL listed at the end of this article.

When Gentile applied to have his law license reinstated, Linda had the chutzpah to testify as follows.

  • Gentile is a competent lawyer (at bouncing checks, Linda?)
  • She would trust him if reinstated

How does one go about trusting someone convicted of grand larceny and felony charges of passing bad checks? Maybe its just one loser lawyer scratching the back of another.

Hopefully, Mr. Gentile reimbursed Linda for the costs she likely incurred in purchasing a tube of Industrial Strength Chapstick.

As we speak (ca. May 2018), Linda practices at 269 East Shore Lake Owassa Road in Newton, New Jersey.
