Attorney Stephen Petersen of Rainier, OR; ethical dwarf

The state of Oregon provided Stephen D. Petersen with a law license in 1973 after she graduated from the University of Oregon Law School.

The Oregon State Bar found Stevie guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Stevie paid out $12,000 to opposing counsel without first obtaining assurances from his client that all terms of settlement agreement had been met.

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Oregon Supreme Court punished Stevie by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.
