Attorney Joseph Palmisano of Mesa, AZ; ethical troll

The state of Arizona presented Bernald Porter with a law license in 1989 after he graduated from Syracuse University Law School.

The Arizona State Bar found Joey guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to comply with disclosure obligation
  • Sanctioned $250 for failing to comply with court order
  • Lied he paid $250 court sanction and was sanctioned another $250
  • Engaged in a conflict of interest
  • Refused to refund any of the prepaid fees from a client’s daughter’s case and applied the entire unearned amount to the granddaughter’s case without client approval
  • Failed to comply with client instructions
  • Failed to respond to client calls for at least 10 months
  • Failed to appear at numerous hearings on behalf of clients

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders of Attorney Misfits sitting on the Arizona Supreme Court punished Joey by gifting him with a complimentary 6-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. May2018), Joey practices with The Acacia Law Group at 1839 South Alma School Road in Mesa, Arizona.
