Attorney Fred Woods Jr. of Greenville, SC; Dumbo, scammer

The State of South Carolina presented Fred Wallace Woods Jr. with a law license in 1978 after he graduated from Samford University Law School.

Disciplinary Counsel of the South Carolina Supreme Court found Freddy guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to provide competent representation (Dumbo)
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to keep client informed of status of legal matter
• Knowingly offered false evidence
• Failed to assure non-lawyer’s conduct compatible with Rules of Professional Conduct
• Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
• Engaged in conduct tending to pollute the administration of justice
• Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice law

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the South Carolina Supreme punished Freddy by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.  

As we speak (ca. September 2018) Freddy practices with The Woods Law Firm at 955 W. Wade Hampton Blvd in Greenville, South Carolina.
