Attorney Terrance Kinnard of Indianapolis; lying loser

The state of Indiana presented Terrance Lamont Kinnard with a law license in 2000 after he graduated from the University of Indiana Law School.

The Indiana Disciplinary Counsel found Terry guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to serve mother with motion in child custody matter on client’s behalf
  • Made several false statements in motion to modify custody
  • Lied in custody modification motion that the father had been awarded visitation pursuant to the Parenting Time Guidelines
  • Also lied in custody modification motion that the mother had denied the father visitation
  • He further lied that the mother lived in Indianapolis
  • After the mother filed an ethics complaint against Terry he responded by filing a sham defamation lawsuit against her that was summarily dismissed by the trial court

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Indiana Supreme Court punished Terry by gifting him with a complimentary 6-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. May 2018), Terry practices with Kinnard & Scott at 320 North Meridian Street in Indianapolis, Indiana.
