Attorney Helen Davidson of New Zealand; deceitful Dumbo

The New Zealand Law Society presented Helen Irene Davidson with a law license in 1984 after she graduated from the University of Auckland Law School.

The Lawyers and Conveyancers Disciplinary Tribunal found Helen guilty of the following misconduct.  

• Engaged in unsatisfactory conduct
• Neglected legal matters entrusted to her
• Engaged in incompetent representation (Dumbo)
• Engaged in conduct reflecting on fitness to practice
• Deliberately backdated a will

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Disciplinary Tribunal punished Helen by gifting her with a complimentary 6-month suspension of her law license, fined $6,0500 and ordered to pay costs of $12.144.

As we speak (ca. May 2018), Helen practices with Polson McMillan Lawyers at 115 Lower Stuart Street in Dunedin, New Zealand.
