Attorney Art Wittich of Bozeman, MT; serial scofflaw

The state of California presented Art Wittich with a law license in 1977 after he graduated from the University of Montana Law School.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found Art guilty of the following misconduct, all of which took place during his candidacy for a seat on the Montana State Senate.

  • Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
  • Failed to maintain and preserve records of his campaign contributions and expenditures
  • Illegally accepted corporate contributions
  • Failed to report all campaign contributions

All that remains now is to see what if any punishment is meted out to Art by the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Montana Supreme Court.

In addition to the above misconduct, in 2016 Al was found guilty of having accepted illegal campaign contributions from the National Right to Work Committee in 2010 and ordered to pay a $68,000 fine.

As we speak (ca. April 2018), Art practices The Montana Law Company at 602 South Ferguson Avenue in Bozeman, Montana.

As one would suspect, Art’s self-serving website at https://www.law-advisor.com/attorneys/ makes no mention of Art’s misconduct. Apparently, Art and his comrades decided to conceal said relevant information in order to not limit their future victim pool.
