Attorney Christopher Westmoreland of Shelbyville, TN; slacker, serial offender

The state of Tennessee presented Christopher Paul Westmoreland with a law license in 2005 after he graduated from Valparaiso University Law School.

The Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility found Chris guilty of the following misconduct.

Chris’s 1^st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Failed to safeguard client funds and property
• Commingled client funds with personal funds

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished Chris by gifting him with a complimentary censure. 

Chris’s 2^nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to communicate with client
• Failed to act fairly with opposing party and counsel
• Failed to expedite client litigation
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice

• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to communicate with client
• Failed to act fairly with opposing party and counsel
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
