Attorney Paulus Chan of North Haven, CT; serial offender

The state of Connecticut presented Paulus H. Chan with a law license in 1997 after he graduated from the University of Connecticut Law School.

The Statewide Greivance Committee found Paulie guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Commingled client funds with personal funds
  • Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Screw you, said Paulie!)
  • Pretended to be ignorant as to what a client ledger was
  • Failed to appreciate the seriousness of his misconduct
  • Failed to safeguard client funds

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Paulie’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received three (3) complimentary reprimands for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Greivance Committee punished Paulie by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. January 2019), Paulie practices with the Law Office of Paulus H. Chan at 157 Forest Hill Road in North Haven, Connecticut.
