Allan Hanson was presented with a law license by the Maine Supreme Court in 1989.
In August 2011, the Board of Overseers of the Bar found Allan Hanson guilty of the following misconduct:
The thrust of Hanson’s misconduct involved his mishandling of a client’s post judgment divorce, which included his failure to file a timely appeal on behalf of the client as he was directed to do.
Hanson also failed to properly handle the client’s needs regarding issues of alimony and medical bills.
As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Board of Overseers punished Allan by gifting him with a reprimand
