Attorney Paul Dillon of Corinth, ME; ethically deprived, Dufus
Paul Dillon was presented with a law license by the Maine Supreme Court in 1989.
In September 2011, the Board of Overseers of the Bar found Paul Dillon guilty of the following misconduct:
The primary misconduct of Paul Dillon resulted in his clients being injured due to his lack of diligence which deprived them of the certainty of their chosen estate plans for over three (3) years. In addition, Dillon’s misconduct exposed the clients probate estates to unnecessary state and federal estate taxes during the three (3) year period of time.
This was Dillon’s 1st bite at the Attorney Misconduct Apple Tree. In 1998 he was issued a warning after he neglected to arrange coverage of another client’s matter during a time he was unavailable due to illness. In this case, Dillon failed to complete the probate work because the task became daunting to him. In truth, Dillon was an incompetent buffoon.
As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Board of Overseers punished Dillon by gifting him with a reprimand.
As we speak (ca. Dec 2011) Paul the Loser Dillon practices his brand of law at 284 Main Street in Corinth.
