U.S Judge Frederick Martone: Arizona’s 2017 Doyuble Dipping Porker of the Year Winner

The state of Arizona provided Frederick J. Martone with a law license in 1975 after he graduated from Harvard University Law School.

Former President George W. Bush was duped into nominating Freddy for a seat as a District Court judge for the District of Arizona in September 2001. Freddy wasn’t nominated because he was the most qualified attorney in the greater Phoenix area. He got it because he had proven to be a reliable lackey for the local and state political hacks.

At the time of his appointment by Clinton, Willis was 63-years-old (DOB 1932). Who in the hell gets appointed to a new job as a federal judge when there 63-years-old. At the time of his appointment, he had already spent 25 years as state judge in Georgia.

From 1971 thru 2018, no self-respecting law firm has offered Willis a good paying job. Wonder why?

It should be noted that in January 2013 Freddy opted to assume the position of senior status judge. This meant that he was only required to work 10 hours a week while collecting 100% of a full-time judge’s annual salary, which as of 2018 would be $205,100.

In addition to his annual $205,100 salary, Freddy also collects an annual judicial pension from Arizona of approximately $125,000 for a total of $330,100.

And lastly, if you’re a federal or even a local government employee, wouldn’t you love it if you could take on senior status in your job after 10 years and continue to collect 100% of your pay? Sorry boys and girls!

Even though you’ll never be able to collect this unconscionable financial benefit, you can take solace in the fact that you will be required to continue to pay taxes to support it.

As we speak (ca. March 20180, Willis continues to sit as a District Court judge in Phoenix, Arizona.
