Attorney Izabella Stepanyan of Glendale, CA; ethical goblin

The state of California presented Izabella Stepanyan with a law license in 2010 after she graduated from Western State University Law School.

The California State Bar Court found Izabella guilty of the following misconduct.

• Engaged in multiple acts of wrongdoing
• Failed to appear at scheduled hearing on behalf of client
• Failure to appear at court scheduled hearing led court to issue show cause notice
• Failed to appear at show cause contempt hearing ordered by trial court
• Failed to pay $1500 court sanction when ordered to do so

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the California State Bar Court punished Izabella by gifting her with a complimentary stayed 1-year suspension of her law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the California State Bar Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Izabella.
