Attorney Jeffrey Weir II of Lorain, OH; slacker, loser

The state of Ohio presented Jeffrey Hile Weir II with a law license in 1997 after he graduated from the University of Michigan Law School.

The Lorain County Bar Association found Jeff guilty of the following conduct.

• Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Screw you, said Jeff!)
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to keep client informed of status of legal matter
• Failed to promptly turn over client papers upon termination
• Failed to comply with client information requests
• Failed to promptly deliver funds to client that client was entitled to receive
• Failed to take steps to protect client’s interests upon termination

All that remains now is to see what if any punishment is meted out to Jeff by the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Ohio Supreme Court.
