Attorney Michael Cheselka Jr. of Cleveland; slacker, liar

The state of Ohio presented Michael Joseph Cheselka Jr. with a law license in 2003 after he graduated from Cleveland State University Law School.

The Disciplinary Counsel of the Ohio Supreme Court found Mikey guilty of the following conduct.

• Failed to timely file motion for post-conviction relief on client’s behalf
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
• Failed to provide competent representation (Dumbo)
• Failed to keep client informed of status of legal matter
• Failed to comply with client information requests
• Failed to promptly refund unearned fee (cheater)
• Knowingly made a false statement of material fact to a tribunal
• Failed to explain matter to extent necessary to permit client to make informed decisions regarding the representation
• Implied ability to influence a state agency
• Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Screw you, said Mikey!)

All that remains now is to see what if any punishment is meted out to Mikey by the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Ohio Supreme Court.
