The state of Missouri presented Lisa Theresa Thompson with a law license in 2001 after she graduated from the University of Missouri Law School.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found Lisa guilty of the following misconduct.

• Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
• Lacked candor when dealing with tribunal
• Used means to improperly burden or delay a third person

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on Disciplinary Counsel punished Lisa by gifting her with a complimentary stayed 6-month suspension of her law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on Disciplinary Counsel didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Lisa.
