Judge Thomas Brooks II of Millport, NY; ethical gnome 

The New York Judicial Commission found Tommy guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to properly administer the Veteran’s Town Court
• Failed to properly supervise his court staff
• Failed to assure that court funds were properly deposited
• Failed to notify Dept. of Motor Vehicles that 142 traffic case defendants failed to either appear or to pay fines as required
• In one month, Tommy received $5,420 in court funds but only deposited $715 into designated court account
• Failed to collect and/or take steps to collect $7,750 in traffic fines

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Judicial Commission punished Tommy by gifting him with a complimentary censure. 

As we speak (ca. February 2018), Tommy continues to sit as a Justice of the Peace of the Veteran Town Court and Millport Village Court, Chemung County, Millport, New York.
