Attorney Gordon Gates of Saco, ME; thieving loser

The state of Maine presented Gordon P. Gates with a law license in 1989 after he graduated from Tulane University Law School.

The Panel B of the Grievance Commission of the Maine Board of Bar Overseers found Gordon guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
  • Engaged in conduct unworthy of an attorney (OMG, this is news?)
  • Knowingly made false statement of material fact
  • Engaged in serious pattern of neglecting client matters
  • Failed to assure reasonable care and judgment re: client representation
  • Failed to refund unearned fee (crook)

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Maine Supreme Judicial Court punished Gordon by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. April 2018) Gordon practices with the Law Office of Gordon Gates at 110 Main Street in Seco, Maine.
