Attorney Brian Hopper of Madisonville, KY; slacker, loser

The state of Kentucky presented Brian Nathan Hopper with a law license in 2003 after he graduated from the University of Kentucky Law School.

The Kentucky Bar Association found Brian guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to keep client reasonably informed of status of legal matter
• Failed to promptly refund unearned fees (cheater)
• Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Brian!)
• Failed to promptly return client phone calls
• Failed to return client files upon termination

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Kentucky Supreme Court the punished Brian by gifting him with a complimentary 181-day suspension of his law license.
