Attorney Donald Goldman of New York City; disgusting fraudster

The state of New York presented Donald J. Goldman with a law license in 1960 after he graduated from New York University (NYU) Law School.

The 1st Department Disciplinary Board found Donnie guilty of the following misconduct, all of which related to the estate and distribution of his mother Mrs. Byrdie Goldman’s assets and Donnie’s interactions with Justin Walder, co-executor of Byrdie’s estate.

  • While mother hospitalized after suffering massive stroke, Donnie withdrew $382,504.02 from bank accounts that he and she held jointly
  • Walder sued to compel Donnie to turn over the joint-account funds so that they could be administered as part of his mother’s estate
  • Gave deposition testimony that was clearly false (perjury)
  • Willfully disobeyed court orders directing him to appear for further depositions
  • Thumbed his nose at court order to produce documents
  • Failed to comply with court order to account for his mother's assets for the 3½ years prior to her death
  • Failed to appear in court when ordered to do so
  • Failed to deposit money into court as required by court judgment
  • Court ruled that certain asset transfers effected by respondent and his wife in 1995 constituted fraudulent conveyances in violation of the Debtor and Creditor Law
  • Violated various restraining orders while transferring mother’s assets to his wife

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Department Disciplinary Board punished Donnie by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year suspension of his law license.

Because Attorney Misfits in New York are held to a much lower standard of conduct then everyone else, Donnie was never criminally charged for perjury or fraud.

As we speak (ca. March 2018), Donnie practices at 100 Willoughby Street in Brooklyn, New York.
