Attorney Albert Lefkowitz of New York City; ethical goblin

The state of New York presented Albert S. Lefkowitz with a law license in 1971 after he graduated from Suffolk University Law School.

The 1st Department Disciplinary Board found Al guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Engaged in aiding non-lawyers in the illegal practice of law
  • Engaged in egregious conflict of interest
  • Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice
  • Improperly directed clients to execute nonrefundable fee agreements

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Department Disciplinary Board punished Al by gifting him with a complimentary 3-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. March 2018), Al practices at 299 Broadway in New York, New York.
