Attorney Lawrence Wilens of New York City; scamming loser

The state of New York presented Lawrence Mark Wilens with a law license in 1972 after he graduated from the Temple University Law School.

The 1st Department Disciplinary Board found Larry guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Engaged in 13 instances of neglecting client matters
  • Failed to promptly deliver property to client to which client was entitled
  • Engaged in rude/uncivil conduct
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  • Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice
  • Failed to fully explain status of immigration cases with multiple clients
  • Refused to release client files to client unless the client agreed in writing that no funds previously paid to the firm should be reimbursed to the client

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Department Disciplinary Board punished Larry by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. June 2018), Larry practices with Wilens & Baker PC at 450 7th Avenue in New York, New York.
