Attorney Paul Pozonsky of Muse, PA; convicted cocaine thief

The state of Pennsylvania presented Paul Michael Pozonsky with a law license in 1980 after he graduated from Quinnipiac University Law School. Tommy also received a law license from the state of Connecticut in 2003.

It should be noted that Paulie had his significant snout firmly implanted in the public trough for twenty-seven years before he was forced to resign from the bench due to his criminal conduct.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found Tommy guilty of the following misconduct, all of which took place while he was a sitting Washington County Common Pleas Judge.

  • Ordered police officers and court personnel to bring cocaine that was evidence in cases he was presiding over to an evidence locker in his courtroom
  • For over a year Paulie stole quantities of cocaine from evidence locker and used said illicit drug for his own recreational purposes
  • Snorted cocaine while presiding over criminal prosecutions and imposing sentences on defendants while he himself was engaging in felonious criminal conduct
  • Attempted to conceal thefts by substituting stolen cocaine with baking power
  • After discovery of his criminal conduct, Paulie resigned his judicial commission
  • Charged with felony theft by unlawful taking
  • Charged with violating Public Official and Employee Ethics Act, a felony
  • Charged with obstructing administration of law, first degree misdemeanor
  • Charged with misapplication of entrusted property, first degree misdemeanor
  • Charged with possession of controlled substance, first degree misdemeanor
  • Pled guilty to one count of theft by unlawful taking
  • Pled guilty to one count of obstructing administration of law
  • Pled guilty to one count of misapplication of entrusted property
  • Pled guilty to one count of illegal taking property belong to government institution
  • Paulie sentenced to 24 months in prison followed by 2-year term of probation

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the justices of the Pennsylvania Supreme Court ordered that Paulie be disbarred; however, after five years Paulie can reapply to have his license reinstated.

As we speak (February 2018), it is rumored that Paulie is employed as a greeter at the Walmart store in Washington, Pennsylvania.
