Attorney Edward Walsh IV of Kansas City, MO; lying loser

The state of Kansas presented Edward F. Walsh IV with a law license in 1997 after he graduated from the University of Missouri Law School.

The Kansas Board for Discipline of Attorneys found Eddie guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Engaged in conduct involving dishonesty, fraud, deceit or misrepresentation
  • Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Eddie!)
  • Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice
  • Failed to respond to numerous calls from person involved in real estate matter
  • Failed to provide full accounting of sale of property, copy of signed contract, key to the house, and buyout receipts to buyer’s attorney as he had previously promised to do
  • Misconduct motivated by dishonesty and selfishness
  • Failed to pay agreed to settlement amount to opposing counsel thereby causing agreement made on behalf of his client to be revoked
  • Failed to notify attorney registration board current address
  • Attempted to restrain another person from voluntarily testifying against him at the disciplinary hearing
  • Knowingly made a false statement of material fact to a third person
  • Authored and entered into prohibited settlement agreement wherein the party to the agreement was required to not testify against Eddie in any disciplinary hearings
  • Misconduct caused actual damage to the public and legal profession
  • Engaged in bad faith obstruction of the disciplinary process (Screw you, said Eddie!)
  • Refused to acknowledge wrongful nature of his conduct

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the patron saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Kansas Supreme Court punished Eddie by gifting him with a complimentary 16-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (January 2018) Eddie practices with Glenn E. Bradford & Associates PC at 1150 Grand Avenue in Kansas City, Missouri.
