Attorney Sarah Haasis of Sterling, IL; lying loser

The state of Illinois presented Sarah Jacquelynne with a law license in 2015 after she graduated from DePaul University Law School.

The Disciplinary Commission found Sarah guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Sarah submitted employment applications for two different positions to the Illinois Department of Transportation. Both applications contained false information about her previous employment, including the false representation that she had practiced law between 2012 and 2016.

Sarah also submitted resumes to IDOT that contained false information about her employment history and made false statements to IDOT’s Salary Administration Manager about her previous employment situation. IDOT hired Ms. Haasis as a property manager, but later terminated her after an internal investigation revealed the false documents and representations.

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court punished Sarah by gifting her with a complimentary 6-month suspension of her law license.

As we speak (February 2018), Sarah practices in Sterling, Illinois.
