Trump sez congress lacks the guts to change libel laws

In this instance, The Great Leader was commenting on the release of the book “Fire and Fury” that paints him as a lazy, manipulative narcissist. He then went on to complain that the GOP controlled Congress lacked the “guts” to change the libel laws. (Doha Madani).

The Great Leader then told the reporter for the Journal:

• “Our current libel laws are a sham and a disgrace, and do not represent American values or American fairness.” Trump said.
• “So, we’re going to take a strong look at that.”
• “We want fairness.”
• “You can’t say things that are false — knowingly false — and be able to smile as money pours into your bank account.”
• “We’re going to take a very, very strong look at that.”
• “And I think what the American people want to see is fairness.”

What the Moron fails to understand is the fact that there are no federal laws regarding libel. All libel laws have been passed by state legislatures. Therefore, The Great Leader has once again proven he’s a Monumental Dumbass.

However, if the states passed libel laws like The Great Leader is proposing, then it wouldn’t be long before he was totally bankrupt after being sued by hundreds of folks for the numerous defamatory lies he has cheerfully made in the past. In fact, the following folks would easily prevail in defamation suits against The Great Leader for his utterly false statements. 

• President Obama – born in Africa
• Sen. Ted Cruz’s father – conspired to assassinate JFK
• Called all 20 of his sexual assault victims Liars
• Stating that Hillary Clinton lied many times to the FBI
