Attorney Noel Bisges of Jefferson City, MO; slacker, repeat offender

 

The state of Missouri presented Noel Francis Bisges with a law license in 1991 after he graduated from South Texas University Law School.

 

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found Noel guilty of the following misconduct.

 

Noel’s 1st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Failed to properly supervise office staff
  • Failed to pay partial refund of fee upon termination

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Missouri Supreme Court punished Noel by gifting him with a complimentary admonition.

 

Noel’s 2nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Bankruptcy court ruled Noel submitted inaccurate asset schedules on client’s behalf
  • Omitted from client bankruptcy filing client’s ownership of several horses
  • Filed bankruptcy schedules w/o client’s signatures on them
  • Bankruptcy court ordered Noel to disgorge $1,411 in fees paid to him
  • He was sanctioned $4,233 by the bankruptcy court for his misconduct
  • Had a habit of filing inaccurate asset schedules with bankruptcy court
  • Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
  • Knowingly submitted false documents to bankruptcy court

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Missouri Supreme Court punished Noel by gifting him with a complimentary 6-month suspension of his law license.

 

As we speak (ca. March 2018), Noel practices with The Bisges Law Firm PC at 520 East High Street in Jefferson City, Missouri.
