Attorney Schuyler Laverentz of West Plains, MO; ethical gremlin

The state of Missouri presented Schuyler George Laverentz with a law license in 2004 after he graduated from St. Louis University Law School.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found Schuyler guilty of the following misconduct.

• Commingled client funds with personal funds
• Failed to deposit unearned fees in trust account
• Failed to properly supervise office staff

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Missouri Supreme Court punished Schuyler by gifting him with a complimentary 6-month suspension of his law license.
