Attorney Michael Foster of Fort Lauderdale; crook, serial offender

The state of Florida provided Michael Sean Foster with a law license in 2004 after he graduated from the University of Florida Law School.

The Florida State Bar found Mikey guilty of the following misconduct.

Mike’s 1st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Failed to respond to repeated client phone calls
  • Failed to comply with client information requests
  • Failed to file promised documents in court
  • Refunded clients with $1,000 bad check (rubber)
  • Failed to fully cooperate with ethics investigators (Screw you, said Mike!)

Because Attorney Misfits in Florida are held to a much lower standard of conduct then everyone else, Mike was never criminally charged for writing bad checks.

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Florida Supreme punished Mikey by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year suspension of his law license.

Mike’s 2nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Failed to provide discovery on client’s behalf
  • Failed to appear at least two court hearings
  • Abandoned client representation
  • Failed to return client file after termination
  • Failed to fully cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Mike!)
  • Failed to advise client of court order disqualifying his representation of the client
  • Failed to protect client interests upon termination
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Engaged in a conflict of interest
  • Acted unlawfully or contrary to honesty and justice

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Florida Supreme punished Mikey by gifting him with a complimentary 3-year suspension of his law license.

Mike’s 3rd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Failed to appear at court hearing on client’s behalf
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Failed to communicate with clients
  • Failed to protect client interests upon termination
  • Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Mike!)
  • Failed to act fairly to opposing part and counsel

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Florida Supreme punished Mikey by gifting him with a complimentary 2-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. January 2018), Mikey practices at 515 East Las Olas Blvd in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
