Attorney Jolyon Morris of Miami; repeat offender

The state of Florida provided Jolyon Wilson Morris with a law license in 1995 after he graduated from Miami University Law School.

The Florida State Bar found Stevie guilty of the following misconduct.

The Florida State Bar found Jolyon guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Paid fees to himself without client permission
  • Improper handling of trust account
  • Failed to fully cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Jolyon!)

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Jolyon’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received a complimentary reprimand for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Florida Supreme punished Jolyon by gifting him with a complimentary 60-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. March 2018), Jolyon practices with Morris Barrow LLC at 1200 NW 78th Avenue in Miami, Florida.
