Sen. Orrin Hatch (UT): Today’s “Trump Ass-Kisser” Award Winner

Orrin is another in a long list of loser attorneys that decided to go into politics after learning how difficult it was to earn a dishonest living practicing law after he graduated in 1995 from the University of Pittsburgh Law School. Therefore, he decided to go into the second most ethical profession (used car salesman No. 1), politics.

It should be noted that Orrin has had his significant snout firmly implanted in the public trough for the past forty years (1977 to 2017). Apparently, no self-respecting law firm in the greater Salt Lake City area was about to offer Orrin a good paying job.

In early December 2017, after Donald “Trumporleone” Trump had retweeted a couple of videos falsely portraying attacks by so-called terrorists, Orrin was asked to comment on the matter.

After donning a pair of Trumpian Brand ™ Industrial Strength Knee Pads, Orrin said:

  • “He’s [Trump] been one of the best presidents I’ve ever served under.”
  • “The president is smart, powerful and a good counterpuncher.”
  • “I think he attacks anyone he perceives or believes is attacking him or the country.”

This hyperbolic (BS) statement means that Orrin believes that The Great Leader is as good as or better than Gerald Ford, Jimmy Carter, Ronald Reagan, George H.W. Bush, Bill Clinton, George W. Bush and Obama.

In a lame effort at levity, Orrin went on to say:

“He should be given the Medal of Freedom for talking his mind in such a bold, honest, and straightforward manner.”

Such a statement is not only disgraceful but a slap in the face to the deserving folks who have received the Medal of Freedom, some of which are named below.

  • 1988: Chief Justice Warren Burger by Ronald Reagan
  • 1964: Edward R. Murrow (Journalism) by LBJ with distinction
  • 1977: Jonas Salk (polio vaccine) by Jimmy Carter
  • 1977: General of the Army Omar Bradley by Gerald Ford
  • 1977: Martin Luther King by Jimmy Carter
  • 1981: Walter Cronkite by Jimmy Carter
  • 1996: Rosa Parks by Bill Clinton

And lastly, if The Great Leader is deserving of a medal it should be the “Medal for Sexual Abuse.”
