Republican’s Humanitarian tax bill sticks it to the poor

Anyone with an I.Q. just a tad higher than the legal speed limit for Semi-trucks on U.S. 50 in the Sacramento area well knows that Republicans are in the pocket of billionaires and multi-national corporations. In truth, the GOP has never and will never give a damn about passing tax legislation that is specifically and solely aimed at helping middle and lower income Americans.

The Senate Republican’s recent (late November 2017) tax plan was scored by the Congressional Budget Office (CBO), which is an apolitical agency that projects the costs of government programs

The CBO stated in its report that 13 million people will lose their health insurance, which would add $1.4 trillion to the deficit in the next ten years.

The report goes on to say that under the Republican Tax Plan, those earing $100,000 to $500,000, along with millionaires and billionaires would be the biggest beneficiaries. Those earning less than $30,000 will be worse off by 2019. Americans earning $40,000 or less would be loser and by 2027, most folks earning less than $75,000 a year would be worse off. On the bright side, poor folk will benefit enormously because tax cuts to billionaires will allow them to hire more maids, butlers, chauffeurs and the like to care for their numerous multi-million-dollar homes. And better yet, some of those jobs may well pay $0.25 more than the federal minimum wage of $7.25.

Are we all in agreement that this Republican tax bill is aimed at “Making America Great Again”? In truth, The Great Leader’s motto along with his Republican Comrades in Congress should be “Screwing Working Americans Again.”
