Fox’s Jonah Goldberg: Today’s “Ass-Kissing Liar” award winner

Jonah Goldberg is another lying loser that is employed by the Fox News Comedy Network. During a recent episode of the Fox News’ America’s Newsroom Comedy Hour, Jonah decided to spew forth a few lies about the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB).

After donning a pair of approved Industrial Strength Knee Pads proved to him at no cost by the CEOs of Wells Fargo and Goldman Sachs, Jonah made the following hyperbolic (BS) statements in attacking the CFPB.

  • “Well look, I think the CFPB [Consumer Financial Protection Bureau] from the outset was an atrocity.”
  • “It was a hate crime against the Constitution.”
  • “The Constitution is very clear. You only have three branches of government, that Congress is the only branch that is allowed to levy taxes or raise taxes or apportion revenue, and yet this thing is funded by the Federal Reserve.”
  • “It is allowed to levy fines and fees on people without approval from Congress.”
  • “It is now claiming that it exists in some sort of forbidden zone, bizarro other dimension, the upside down from Stranger Things, and it's not actually part of the executive branch.”

The thing that Jonah and his comrades on Wall Street hate is the fact that over the past several years the CFPB has forced big banks, credit card dispensers and other corporate cheats to reimburse their customers (victims) over $12 billion. This represents money they earned by cheating and/or defrauding their customers.

According to Jonah the Ass-Kissing liar, that $12 billion theft would better be spent on CEO bonuses, private jet purchases for the CEOs and/or money the CEOs could spend on other luxury items like a new Rolls Royce or Ferrari.

Preventing wholesale thefts by crooked folks on Wall Street is apparently unconscionable. Put simply, allowing for these outrageous is one way to “Make America Great Again.”
