Attorney Trent Turner of Columbus, OH; slacker

The state of Ohio presented Trent Reynard Turner with a law license in 1995 after he graduated from the University of Toledo Law School.

Disciplinary Counsel found Trent guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to file motion for judicial release
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to maintain proper trust account records
• Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice law
• Failed to keep client informed of status of legal matter
• Failed to perform monthly reconciliation of trust account
• Failed to comply with client information requests
• Solicited or engaged in sexual activity with a client
• Failed to promptly refund unearned fee upon termination
• Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
• Commingled client funds with personal funds

All that remains now is to see what if any punishment is meted out to Trent by the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Ohio Supreme Court.
