Judge Kevin A. Hunt of Ulster County, NY; ticket-fixer, moron  
Unfortunately, Judge Kevin Hunt duped t he voters in Ulster County into electing him as a Just ice of the Shawangunk Town Court, which is about 80 miles south of Albany.
Recently a judicial misconduct complaint was filed against Kevin by the New York State Commission on Judicial Conduct.
Subsequently, the Commission found Judge Hunt guilty for intervening in his friend’s traffic case even though the case was pending before another judge.
Prior to his friend’s scheduled trial date, Kevin went to the Shawangunk Police Stat ion and spoke with the officer who issued the tickets. Hunt told t he officer that his friend and her family were “good people,” and asked the officer to “do what ever you can do.”
In it’s finding of guilty, the Commission said:
Despite said findings, the enablers and apologists for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Judicial Commission punished Judge Hunt by gifting him with a complimentary censure.
Is it any wonder that New Yorkers have lost all confidence in the Judicial Commission’s ability to deal with certified Judicial Misfits?
