Sen. Lindsey Graham (SC): Today’s “Ass-Kisser” Award Winner

During a recent (late October 2017) appearance on Fox’s The Brian Kilmeade Comedy Show, former Dump Trump advocate Lindsey Graham, decided to curry favor with Donald “Trumporleone” Trump by giving his undying support to The Great Leader for tax reform.

After donning a pair of Trumpian Brand ™ Industrial Strength Knee Pads, Lindsey told Kilmeade’s low I.Q. followers:

• "Well, I think all of us realize that if we fail on taxes, that's the end of the Republican Party's governing majority in 2018."
• "We'll lose the House, probably lose ground in the Senate and President Trump has got a profile different from the party -- there's kinda two or three different Republican Parties now, I guess. But we're all in it together."
• "I can't imagine how he could be successful with Nancy Pelosi running the House." Graham continued.
• "They'd try to impeach him pretty quick and it would be just one constant investigation after another.”
• “So, it's important that we pass tax reform in a meaningful way.”
• “If we don't, that's probably the end of the Republican Party as we know it."

Lindsey’s whining that if Pelosi was running the House there “would be just one constant investigation after another” is really special given the fact that he and his comrades in the Senate and the House conducted numerous investigations of Hillary Clinton lasting several years and costing taxpayers tens-of-millions of dollars. Apparently, investigations of political opponents at taxpayer expense is only acceptable if the target of the investigation is a Democrat.

One thing we can glean from Lindsey’s sappy comments in support of The Don, is the fact that he and his fellow Republicans will never take any action to impeach The Don even if irrefutable evidence proves he committed several felonies.
