Judge Bruce Mills of Walnut Creek, CA; liar, serial offender

The state of California presented Bruce Clayton Mills with a law license in 1984 after he graduated from Lewis & Clark University Law School.

Former Gov. Pete Wilson was duped into appointing Bruce as a Contra Costa County Superior Court judge in 1995. Bruce didn’t receive the appointment because he was the most qualified attorney in the Contra Costa County area. He received it because he had proven to be a reliable lackey for the local political hacks.

It should be noted that Billy has had his significant snout firmly implanted in the public trough for the past twenty-nine (29) years. Apparently, no self-respecting law firm in the Las Vegas area was about to offer Billy a good paying job.

FYI: This isn’t the first time that Bruce has been disciplined by the Cheerleaders for Judicial Misfits sitting on the California Judicial Commission. • Engaged in illegal ex parte (one-sided) communications with Sheriff
• Failed to uphold the independence of the judiciary
• Engaged in illegal ex parte (one-sided) communications with District Attorney
• Failed to respect and comply with the law
• Engaged in willful misconduct
• Failed to perform judicial duties without bias or prejudice
• Told man in domestic case he’d get good-time credit for half of 25-day sentence for contempt and then denied the credit until told that California law entitled the man to said credit
• Improperly spoke to prosecutor during jury deliberations in drunk-driving case about how to use evidence from breath-analysis machines
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
• Engaged in conduct bring judicial office into disrepute

All that’s left now is to see what if any punishment is meted out to Bruce the Six-Time Loser by the Cheerleaders sitting on the California Judicial Commission.

And lastly, an unreliable source indicated that in celebration of his sixth (6^th) bite at the Judicial Misfit Apple Tree, the members of the Judicial Commission are considering providing Bruce and his family with an all-expense paid 21-day vacation to the Bahamas. If true, that will send an ominous message to any other California Judge who feels compelled to engage in any unethical conduct.
