Attorney Ambry Schuessler of St. Louis, MO; ethical goblin

The state of Missouri presented Ambry Nichole Schuessler with a law license in 2013 after she graduated from St. Louis University Law School.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel is investigating Ambry for allegedly engaging in the following misconduct, all of which took place while she was employed as an Assistant St. Louis County Prosecutor.

• Lied about cover-up of St. Louis detective Thomas A. Carroll’s assault on Michael Waller, a suspect who was handcuffed at the time
• Made racist or homophobic jokes about Michael Waller 
• Listened in via speakerphone while detective Carroll described the beating and claimed he put his gun in Waller’s mouth
• During the speakerphone call involving Carroll, Schuessler made a joke about the “gun”
• Lied during an investigation by her superiors, the FBI and Police Internal Affairs

It should be noted that detective Carroll is serving a 52-month prison sentence after pleading guilty to violating the civil rights of Michael Waller by assaulting him on July 22, 2014.

All that remains now is to see what if any punishment is meted out to Ambry by the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Disciplinary Counsel.

It should be noted that Ambry had the chutzpah to assert that even if she made the racist or homophobic joke she is alleged to have made, it would be an unconstitutional restriction of her free speech rights to be disciplined for so acting. It would appear that Ambry missed her calling as a Standup Comedian.

And lastly, the Coulter Lamson firm makes no mention of the investigation into Ambry’s misconduct as set forth above on its self-serving website at www.coulterlambson.com. Apparently, the firm felt it was appropriate to conceal this relevant information so as to not limit its future victim pool.
